DIY Invitations

by Leilani on August 1, 2010

Every once in a while I like to dabble in paper crafting, especially when it comes to special occasions. I remember during the wedding planning process, I came across a ton of DIY brides on The Knot, who inspired me to make my own wedding invitations.

Since then, I’ve been finding any opportunity I can to create more beautiful invitations. So when Soleil was baptized last year, my creative juices began flowing and I put together a very pretty hand-made invite. Now that my not-so-little Selene is getting baptized, I was able to create hers, too! So I’d like to share with you the cute invitations I made for my girls’ baptisms.

Paper crafts are a lot of fun. Once upon a time ago I claimed that scrapbooking was my hobby. Realistically, it's more like "collecting scrapbook supplies" since I rarely take the time to scrap. So I always have plenty of pretty paper, stickers & stamps around. I rarely buy cards anymore. Your invites are beautiful. -EW
