Miracle Blanket Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

One of the first things I learned as a new mother, soon after I gave birth to Soleil, was how to swaddle a baby in a blanket. Each nurse showed us their own method of swaddling, which was great for us, because we were able to choose what we were comfortable with and what worked for us. And when it came to swaddling Soleil, Paul and I had our own separate ways of doing it.

However, no matter which way we swaddled her, and no matter how many blankets we used, within minutes our swaddle was no more. The blankets would just unravel from Soleil wiggling around. Soleil was somewhat of a colicky baby and one of the few things that would calm her down was a good swaddle. So after searching online for the ultimate swaddle blanket, I came across the Miracle Blanket. It had terrific reviews on Amazon, and the information on their website looked convincing. So I searched for the nearest retailer in my area and bought a Miracle Blanket that same day. After Soleil had been crying, despite already being fed and changed, I whipped out the Miracle Blanket and wrapped her in it. I kid you not when I say that by the time I finished wrapping her in it, she was out! Paul and I were completely shocked! It was a miracle! Now I’m not saying that it worked it’s magic like that every time, but for it to happen the very first time we used it, we found to be very impressive!

The Miracle Blanket makes swaddling extremely easy. It’s a sure fire way to get it right every time and for us, neither of the girls were able to wiggle out of it. The secret is the two flaps on the inside that are wrapped over the arms and tucked underneath the back, and the extra long flap that wraps around twice makes it impossible for the swaddle to unravel. We used the Miracle Blanket with both Soleil and Selene and it was a must-have baby item in our household. We swaddled both girls every night until they were about 12-14 weeks. On hot summer nights, we would simply swaddle the girls with only their diapers on to prevent overheating and this worked out fine.

I owned several of these when my daughter was a newborn and used them until 6 or 7 months old (to swaddle her arms since she wouldn't sleep otherwise).
